Hello my darlings,

It's been quite a long time since students were able to walk the corridors of Hogwarts, and good news, the school has OFFICIALLY been reopened. Yes, that's right, Hogwarts will be reopening September 2004 for all of their students.

Letters have been sent, supplies are ready and a new roster of professors is ready for you all. Minerva McGonagall has been promoted to becoming the Headmistress of Hogwarts, we congratulate her on the accomplishment. We would also like to welcome all the new students.

But sadly, that is not what this column will be about. Rather, I will be talking about the juicy details in the day to day lives of our saviors and those who have become celebrities throughout the past few years. Yes, be warned, your secrets are no longer safe. I have my ways of finding all of your secrets.

The sun was pouring into the room and the morning breeze was colliding with the air in the room. Opening her eyes, a smile formed on Victoria’s face as she could smell the beach, the ocean and the cool air of the morning. Jumping out of bed, she walked to the balcony, overlooking the water. She could spend hours just watching the waves, but today was different. The waves were perfect, perfect for surfing and although Victoria didn’t surf, she did like watching others. Quickly pulling on a pair of shorts and a light sweater, she made her way down to the beach. There were so many people already there, all surfers. Sitting down, she began to watch the waves and how to surfers rode the waves. It was almost intoxicating watching them, she so badly wanted to be out there as well, but she knew it needed a real skill to be able to do what they do. Sure she can use magic, but she didn’t want to. If she were able to do something like that, she wanted to do it for herself, not because she could use a short cut.

She did not move back to the USA, she stayed in the UK, where she felt she was safer away from her parents. She was not going to get caught, get killed. She needed to find another way out. Desperately looking from side to side, she needed to get to a safer place. Leaning against the wall, she felt her body cramping from the amount of running she had been doing. She didn't know where all the chaos started, but she was bound to find someone who did know, and it might not be the best encounter for her. She had been contacted by some Deatheaters to look for a hideout and she had given them what they wanted, for her safety. She was not going to be arguing with someone who can easily kill her and not even blink. Sophie panted and sunk down to the ground, her legs to her chest as she wrapped her arms around them. Trying to find focus. She needed to keep moving, needed to find somewhere to hide. There had been stories or what happens to those who get caught, and since Hogwarts was definitely not somewhere she should be, she was hiding in Diagon Alley, in one of the many streets that weave into the town. Come on Soph, just a little further, she thought to herself. She was heading for the hospital. If she wasn't going to be able to help what she's done, she was going to help someone else. Hearing crying, she turned her attention to a small girl who was hiding in a building. Looking up, and around, Sophie made a run for it as she disappeared into the building to help the child. Picking her up and held her close as she ran towards the hospital. "Please open the door," she called out as another explosion struck, right next to her. Screaming and losing hold of the child, she found herself on the ground. Her ears ringing and her sight blurry as she looked for the little girl. Slowly getting up, Sophie reached for the child again and carried her to the door, that was opened by Aurors for her. "Thank you," she said as she handed the nurse the girl and she fell to the ground, exhausted. Sitting on her knees, Sophie tried to catch her breath as her eyes began to gain focuses.

My theory is that Remus' mother (Hope Howell) died some years before Remus' father and Rose's father marry. As from the fact that Remus never talk about his parents in the books. Siblings: Remus John Lupin: step-brother; however she does not know of their relation. Others: Nymphadora Tonks: step-sister-in-law, Theodore "Teddy" Lupin: nephew; again, unknowing of her relation to them. History: Oh... gosh. Where to start. I was born June 30, 1977, in a London Hospital (Muggle, I think, actually). My Father and I live in Great Britain, well, after a short stout in France we do. (Short, what the hell am I talking about? I was there for 10 years! ...nearly.) I take my Mothers surname rather than my fathers' as a safety precaution; as even though she loves her husband very much, my mother decided that to guard us, she would give her daughter her name. I grew up quietly, I've always been a bit of a shy girl, but once I'm comfortable I really let loose. I went to a muggle private school, for Primary. Muggle school was boring. When did I first find out I was a witch? New Years, while I was in France, just before I turned 11. I wanted more fireworks.... I got more fireworks. Nearly set an entire forest on fire. Oops. My mother, father and I moved to France after Fenrir Greyback decided to take a chunk out of my arm one night when I was 3, and I attended Beauxbatons from the time I was 11 til I was 13 where I then transferred to Hogwarts, at which point I started as a first year, due to the vast difference of curriculum (they teach things in a varying order), and I thought it only fair; which made me older than my fellow first years, but not as unapproachable as other third years in the school. If you would like to know, yes, I attended school along with Harry Potter and his friends, but I haven't had much contact with them. My mother disappeared, shortly after I showed my first experience with my magic, my father said she had been called away by the ministry, I didn't understand why she wouldn't return, but was consoled that she was doing "good work" and would be back soon. During school, and while Harry was going through his troubles, I was merely just another Gryffindor. As the times grew darker, I busied myself with my studies and attempted to draw no attention to myself, in fear of what gaining attention would lead to. Merely only experiencing the after match of each event of the years. However, my eyes were caught by one person in particular, and I was sad when he and his brother left during my fifth year at Hogwarts: Fred Weasley. I am disappointed that I never really got to talk to him, except a few times in the common room, or after a win during a quidditch match. Again, a fear of trusting a getting close to people hindering me. When the battle of Hogwarts - our school - began, my father attempted to bring me home and hide me there; but I persuaded him to come to the castle and fight along with the professors and other adults, including the Order of the Phoenix, to protect the castle and it's residents. I was tired of living in fear from my past and my secret. After the war, my father and I returned home. He attempted to keep my studies up, even though the school was closed for many years. Together, we attempted to find the innocent werewolf covens, to reach out and help them find a way back into society - both by social rehabilitation and finding jobs. Oh dear. This was it. They had all been shoved into boats when arriving at the station in Hogsmeade, and then proceeded to cross the lake, four people to a boat at a time. She was thankful she hadn't fallen! Because that would have been seriously embarrassing, and the thought of the cold she would have caused shivers to go down her spine. Not in the first week. There was NO way. Luckily, her boat made it safely across the large lake, and they were all shuffled into the castle warm embrace. This was a good thing because, as it was September, there was a bit of bite to the air and it made her uncomfortable, as she was used to slightly warmer weather. Once inside the hall, they were all lined up in alphabetical order. This took some time, as there were quite a few eleven-year-olds here. And so many different nationalities! Was there not schools in their country? Or was Hogwarts just a central hub? Either way, it made things interesting. She listened to the chatter of the students, and a sort of calm found her anxious nerves. There was really nothing to be anxious or nervous about. They were all just about to be shoved into a room, stood before the entire school, each of their names called out, and a hat was to be put upon their head. This hat was said to be old and wise, sewn way before the days of the Great War. It had seen a lot of hardship. She respected this hat. Her mother taught her this. Ah yes, home. A familiar place. But, she had begun getting restless in the past few years and her father almost sighed with relief when the owl came with her letter. "Overzealous girls need to learn discipline." Her father had said. Her mother? Even she didn't know the answer to that question. At least, to her where abouts. She knew she had one. She got a letter from her once a month. A very long, newsy kind of letter, and always at the very end was a few galleons said 'to be used wisely' and the note of she loved her. Ah yes. Her mother A good woman. Though she could barely remember what she looked like, it's been so long that she's seen her. All was good, though. She had a happy family. They were lined up at the front of the Great Hall, she could almost smell the nervousness. Her nose crinkled, or was it that group that had actually fallen into the lake? She cast a side glance at them, yet still smiled. She was in, naturally, a pleasant mood. And not even the stench of lake water could bring down her high spirits. She could feel the eyes of the older students behind her, giving them each a mental grade. Yes. They were only eleven. But just you wait. When she was older and had a few years of training, she would show any that dare to oppose her. She was not to be underestimated. She showed this bit of proud fact by standing up straight, chin up, and a determined smile on her lips. She was ready for anything that this school threw at her. Names had begun to be called. She was somewhere down a long line of people. As being a Hunter put her near the middle of the alphabet. But they seemed to be pros at this whole sorting situation, having done it for many, many, many years, names were gone through quickly. The only pause was when the hat was set upon the head of a slightly difficult person to sort. Which was alright. Rose was more interested in watching it move anyways. And then... "Hunter, Rose!" Aw man. She hadn't been paying attention to where they were in the alphabet. Her eyes widened as she stared at the teacher who called her name. Many students had begun to stare at her as suddenly nerves hit, full force. She swallowed, smiled, putting her chin back up, proudly, and made her way forward through the crowd of students, danced up the steps, twirled around, a cute little smile upon her lips and the had was put over her head, and she stared at the inside. She giggled mentally. "Hello Mr Sorting Hat, sir. How has your evening been?" she thought, with another giggle. **Some notes: While she is the step sister of Remus Lupin, she has no idea that she is. Her father has never mentioned this to her, even though they were both at Hogwarts during the battle. It was a shame they never reunited, even with being in such close proximity, but taking her mother's last name has wedged a sense of anonymity between her and her step-brother. I would like to hope that some day she would find out. Please let me know if there's anything to expand on, or to be changed. She's a very old character, and it took some time to adapt her and not tie her to OCs too heavily.
